J.O’Doherty Haulage Ltd provides a range of services and vehicles for hire and reward in Greater London and the surrounding area, including tippers, grabs, hiabs, low-loaders and bulk haulage. Boningale Limited launches Sustainability Plan to make growing ‘greener’

Boningale Limited has signed up to the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) ‘Sustainability Roadmap Supports pledge,’ publishing its own Sustainability Plan in response to climate and biodiversity issues.
The Shropshire-based nursery, which produces around 2.2 million shrubs, herbaceous and perennial plants per year supplying commercial landscapers, Garden Designers, Green Roofing Installers, and domestic and retail markets has been ISO14001 accredited since 2007. Recent training sessions with the HTA and PlanetMark have provided Boningale with guidance on how to put together a structured sustainability plan which will drive the changes that are necessary.

Japanese Knotweed Ltd (JKL) is expanding its services by launching a new sister brand called Environment Controls (EC). EC will do more to tackle the growing problem of invasive species in the UK, and effectively eradicate contaminated ground. By utilising extensive in-house skills, equipment and specialist knowledge, the launch of EC is a natural evolution for JKL.
Japanese knotweed Ltd was founded in 2010 and employs 60 staff including surveyors, technicians and excavation operatives. JKL is nationwide, serving as a trusted specialist in the identification, control, and eradication of Japanese knotweed. The business currently services over 7,000 customers with long-term herbicide contracts and carries out more than 200 excavations a year.

O'Donovan takes the lead with switch to HVO

O'Donovan Waste Disposal has made the bold move to switch its entire fleet to Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). This is a huge step for the multi-award winning business that operates with a fleet of 100 HGVs, serving the construction and demolition sectors throughout London and the Home Counties.
HVO is a sustainable and 100% renewable fuel that eliminates up to 90% of net carbon dioxide emissions. The green alternative fuel reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) by up to 30%, particulate matter (PM) by up to 86% and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions by up to 90%.
