Visitors from around the UK will soon again be attending the Ground Source Heat Pump Associations annual conference this September being held at the Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa, Skipton North Yorkshire.
The heat pump industry is working hard to meet the Government’s ambition for the deployment of 600,000 heat pump systems per annum by 2028. Achieving this level of growth (across the UK) will require the necessary government policies in place, and a significant private investment in both capacity and training and skills.
The event will provide a number of opportunities for leading industry experts to get together in an informal setting to get expert advice and information in the beautiful
surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales alongside some Yorkshire hospitality.
The Conference consists of a series of coordinated Expert Panel sessions, presentations and networking events. The confirmed speakers currently include Dr Alan Whitehead Shadow Minister (Climate Change and Net Zero), Dr Matthew Aylott Electrification of Heat Policy Advisor at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Dr Jan Rosenow RAP: Principal and European Programme Director as well as representatives from the Environment Agency, DFE and MCS to name but a few.
Once the conference has concluded during the day, the evening will consist of a Grand Gala Charity Dinner in aid of Blood Cancer UK. Hosted by Ricky Tomlinson (Jim from the Royle Family) the evening includes a live auction and a live band and disco to dance the night away to!
