Financial services broker, Midlands Asset Finance (MAF), is committed to building the next generation of finance brokers after employing five new members of staff all under the age of 23.
University graduates Sam Greasley, Harry Krikken, Charlie Hubble, Ryan Walker and Liam Delaney were all hired this month as the broker continues its talent development scheme to help boost its national coverage.

York Handmade plays pivotal role in new art and design technology centre

The award-winning York Handmade Brick Company has played a pivotal role in the creation of the new Art and Design Technology Centre at Pocklington School, near York.
York Handmade, based at Alne, near Easingwold, supplied 31,000 bricks for the exterior of the new £3.25 million building, together with 4,300 terracotta tiles for the interior floor.
The contract is worth £78,000 for York Handmade, one of the leading independent brickmakers in the UK.

The latest section of remedial works on the A13 / A130 Sadlers Farm ‘interchange’ is underway, one-year after initially being identified for upgrades in a series of routine inspections completed by Essex County Council.
Earthworks specialist Mick George Ltd will imminently begin enabling works on behalf of principal contractor Balfour Beatty PLC.
