The end-point assessment (EPA) agenda for civil engineering trade apprenticeships is being spearheaded by Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) – which is the first in the country to complete EPAs in Formwork and in Steel Fixing.
The EPA is paramount to the achievement of an apprenticeship. It tests the knowledge, skills and behaviours that an apprentice has gained during their training. Unique to each apprenticeship standard, the EPA demonstrates the competence of an apprentice in their role – which is crucial for current and future employers.
