Broker expands HQ and launches new asset finance platform

Independent financial services broker Midlands Asset Finance has expanded into new premises following a successful 2016, to accommodate its ongoing growth and the launch of its market-leading online asset finance division.

Its launch follows a successful 2016, which saw the firm increase its employee headcount from 11 to 19. Because of its success, it has expanded its premises at The Village business park, off junction 28 of the M1, by taking on the unit adjacent to its existing head office.

Construction law specialist, Tim Hall, joins Birketts

Tim Hall has joined Birketts’ Construction and Engineering Team as a Legal Director. 

Tim has over 20 years’ experience and specialises in non-contentious engineering and construction law. 

During his career Tim has acted for multi-national companies, financial institutions, public, charitable and private sector procurers of construction and engineering work, contractors, subcontractors and consultants.

‘Best Small Client’ award for Kensa Heat Pumps & Shropshire Rural Housing

Shropshire Rural Housing Association has been awarded the title ‘Small Client of the Year’ for its pioneering work installing Kensa ground source heat pumps into both its new build and existing properties on one estate; the first time in the UK. 

The accolade was awarded by the National Housing Maintenance Forum, who ‘recognise success and ingenuity within the housing sector’.
