Greenwashing is used to describe misinformation about the environmental and sustainability claims of an organisation. It's an all too common practice. Marketing ploys, vague assurances and manipulation of language and symbols are adopted by companies looking to present themselves as more environmentally responsible than they actually are.

GSHPA to Participate in the Regulatory Process, Focusing on Sector Protection

The Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA) is actively engaging in the regulatory process following the Environment Agency's announcement of amendments to the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) 1996. While the GSHPA welcomes the sentiment behind these changes, the organisation is committed to safeguarding the impact on the ground source heating and cooling sector.

In an official statement issued by the GSHPA’s Council, the association acknowledges the importance of addressing environmental concerns and ensuring the responsible use of heat pump technology. These initial comments pertain specifically to closed-loop ground source heating and cooling systems, and the GSHPA anticipates further updates and amendments as additional information becomes available.

ASFP to host fire safety seminar in London
