Using drone technology for inventory management

Every year, companies carry out expensive and time consuming inventories within their warehouses and outside storage areas.

These inventories require a huge mobilisation of material and human resources, which often involves stopping onsite activity. This can have a detrimental impact on a company’s business.

Our drone inventory management process has been designed to automate inventories with very little human intervention. As a result of our efficient workflow process, we can save our clients a lot of money while also producing the digital inventory data very quickly and in various formats that haven’t been available until now.

CISRS partners with providers to offer subsidised CPD courses

The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) is marking the first anniversary of the introduction of CPD courses for scaffolders by running a number of subsidised courses across the UK. 

CISRS has reached an agreement with a number of training providers that will enable them to deliver the CPD programme at only £50 per head – a price reduction in excess of 80%. A total of 13 courses will be delivered between June and August, allowing for up to 156 scaffolders to take advantage of this offer.

FIS and CITB to attract 1,500 new entrants with new £2.1m project

A new £2.1m partnership has been agreed between the Finishes and Interiors Sector (FIS) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). 

The Fit-out Futures programme will address key challenges faced in the finishes and interior sector, including skills shortages, lack of new entrants and difficulty in accessing quality training.

University accommodation protected with Bull Products

Bull Products, a manufacturer of life-saving fire protection equipment, has supplied its prestigious Cygnus wireless alarm systems to St Stephens Towers – a £45m revamp which will provide multi-storey accommodation for more than 700 students.   

Bull has been contracted to supply its Cygnus alarm devices during work on the site, which when complete, will provide purpose-built apartments with social spaces featuring a cinema, gymnasium, study rooms, and a series of lounge spaces for the students at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the Norwich University of Arts.
