Winners mount up for Redrow at prestigious UK Property Awards

Redrow has scooped no less than eight top honours at this year’s UK Property Awards, including two coveted ‘best in the UK awards’ for its national consumer website and one of its exclusive London developments.

Other schemes in Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Lancashire and West Yorkshire collected ‘Highly Commended’ awards.

NASC members and staff meet Nick Boles MP

NASC were in Westminster earlier this month, with members Chris Sedgeman and Lynn Way of Chris Sedgeman Scaffolding Ltd, to meet with Nick Boles, Minister of State for Skills and Equalities – discussing the availability of training in the South West and proposals for the future of apprenticeships in the UK.

Construction recruitment specialists announce new offices and appointments

Due to major business growth, a Plymouth recruitment agency has announced a series of new appointments and a £100,000 investment in new offices.

Sphere Solutions, which specialises in recruitment for the construction industry, has relocated to The Millfields, the site of the Grade 2 listed former Royal Naval Hospital.

Partnership helps Landscape Architects unlock new technologies

Newcastle and London-based urban designers, landscape architects and masterplanners, Colour, is finding new ways of implementing the latest technology in its work thanks to a partnership with Teesside University.

Colour has taken on two members of staff at its Newcastle headquarters with the help of different schemes run by the University to help companies recruit talent and develop new skills in their business.
