Solid foundation for a long-term partnership

Hope Construction Materials and DB Schenker Rail UK have laid solid foundations for their future partnership by signing a five-year contract for comprehensive transport services.

The two companies celebrated by further cementing their relationship when DB Schenker Rail UK’s Class 60 locomotive (60044) was named Dowlow, in honour of the company’s Dowlow Quarry in Derbyshire.

NASC shortlisted for top CITB award for commitment to apprentices

The UK trade body for access and scaffolding, the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC), has been shortlisted for a top award for its outstanding commitment to supporting apprentices.

Interserve starts work on Daniel Libeskind designed research centre

Work on site by Interserve, the international support services and construction group, is underway on a new £11.5 million research centre for the Ogden Centre for Fundamental Physics at Durham University.
