Have you decided on electrical training or you are considering your career options? Whatever decisions you are about to make, it can be helpful to read the comments of those who have begun their electrical training. They can paint a picture of what it is like to train with OLCI. And that can help you decide if it’s right for you too.
Christian Simpson took the ‘Become a Fully Qualified Electrician’ course from OLCI. Before enrolling he ‘was made redundant from Ikea and wanted a change in career’. Christian wants to get qualified in the trades as he has ‘a business and need to be qualified to improve the business, and educate employees and health and safety on site’. Christian chose OLCI as he ‘saw them on the internet and they said they could cover all my needs in my current situation of studying around work’.
He said that the best parts of his training are that he ‘can fit it around my job and its at my own pace’. Christian says that the OLCI tutors are ‘very well educated and very informative and friendly and approachable’. He says that the practical training is ‘very well thought out and in good progressions to help you learn’. Christian agrees that ‘training with OLCI is convenient’ and ‘I have gained new skills from OLCI’.
Grant Webb decided to enrol on the ‘Become a Fully Qualified Electrician’ course with OLCI. Previously he was a ‘public house manager’ and wanted to get qualified in the trades so that he can ‘have more employment options in the future’. Grant chose to enrol with OLCI as the ‘price was fair and the call centre staff were friendly, polite and professional, which I decided would probably extend to the rest of the staff’. Grant says that the OLCI tutors are ‘knowledgeable and polite’, whilst his practical training is ‘progressing at a reasonable rate’ because ‘a reasonable amount of time is allowed for tasks and tutors are on hand if questions arise’. Grant agrees that ‘I have gained valuable skills during my OLCI training’ and that ‘I am looking forward to a career in the trades’.
Desmond Kavanagh chose the OLCI electrician course ‘Become a Fully Qualified Electrician’. Desmond wanted to get qualified in the trades so that he can ‘have a recognisable skill’. Before enrolling he was doing general building work but chose to take electrical training with OLCI as they were ‘easy to travel to…’ and had ‘good payment options…’ The best part of Desmond’s training is ‘learning a new skill’ as it is ‘personally rewarding’. He finds the OLCI tutors are ‘very personable and helpful’ and the practical training ‘very informative and skills based’ because ‘we cover a lot of areas in a relatively short period of time’. Desmond agrees that he would ‘recommend OLCI to a friend’.
