What are the reasons for learners taking an OLCI plumbing course?

altIf you are thinking of taking a plumbing course, it can help if you read feedback from those who have enrolled previously.  They can offer you an insight into what the training may be like – and can help you decide if a course would suit your needs too.

Jarrad Corssen-Davies chose the ‘Become a Qualified Plumber – Advanced’ course from OLCI.  He chose to get qualified in the trades so that he can ‘have a successful career in the plumbing industry, and help others’.

Jarrad decided to enrol with OLCI because of ‘the qualifications…which you gain and OLCI stood out from the rest of the training companies’.  Before enrolling, Jarrad ‘was in the army and my job was physical training’.  Jarrad explained that the best part of his training was ‘getting hands-on and doing as much practical as possible’ because ‘I feel that this is the most important part and my best way of learning’.  Jarrad highlighted that he thinks the OLCI tutors are ‘approachable, friendly and knowledgeable’.  He also said that his practical training is ‘excellent’ as ‘I find it a good way of learning’.  Jarrad agrees that ‘the support I receive from OLCI is helpful’ and that ‘I would recommend OLCI to a friend’.  Upon successful completion of the course, Jarrad would like to ‘gain more experience before I set up on my own’.

Charles Chapman decided to take the OLCI plumbing course.  Prior to joining the course, Charles was a builder.  He wanted to get qualified in the trades so that he can ‘add another element to my existing job’.  Charles chose to train with OLCI as ‘they offered the training that I wanted, with the same company (level 2 and 3), and close enough to travel’.  The best part of his training is ‘learning how to do things properly’.  Charles says that the OLCI tutors are ‘good, helpful’.  The practical training is ‘good, straight to the point and all the information needed is given’.  Charles agrees that ‘I am looking forward to a career in the trades’ and that ‘I have gained valuable skills during my OLCI training’.
