Dalrod appoints Bryan Lord as Group Business Develpment Manager

DALROD’s strategic expansion plans have, so far this year, seen the company move into new state-of-the art 1200 square metres Head Office space in July, where three experienced managers have joined to support and strengthen the team going into the future. The nationwide drainage and civils group has recently been joined by Jon Kynaston as General Manager and Stevie Johnson, Contracts Manager for the new Civil and Construction Division. September 1 sees Bryan Lord join as Group Business Development Manager.
Special interest in trenchless technology
Bryan, whose initial background is as a mechanical engineer, gained his training as an apprentice with Rustons Gas Turbines in Lincolnshire. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of drainage services with over 25 years experience working for notable companies including Insituform and OnSite. His particular area of expertise is trenchless technology and Bryan was instrumental in launching and securing sales and long term contracts for Waterflow Services pipe lining product Formapipe and subsequently the Premier-Pipe lining system owned by OnSite.

Bryan and his wife Karen, who have two grown-up children, live in Milton Keynes which is an ideal central base for Bryan to service his network of contacts. Relaxation includes time with his family, cooking up some tasty Chinese dishes and a spot of fly fishing for trout when time allows.

Bryan also has valuable experience in procurement and writing tender documentation and his role, in utilising all of this experience along with his extensive network of contacts, will be to source and win major projects for the DALROD Group.
