Heckmondwike FB shortlisted for Best Product Award

Heckmondwike FB, one of the UK’s leading carpet manufacturers, has been shortlisted in trade magazine Tomorrow’s FM’s annual awards for its Supacord fibre bonded carpet range.

The national magazine, which is read by facilities managers across the UK, selects the top 50 companies that manufacture products and services that it feels are worthy of winning the prestigious ‘best product/service title’.

A full list of entries is released in a Guide produced by the magazine in January and readers are invited to vote online for who they believe deserves to win. Three winners then receive a trophy, which is presented in March.

These threads are incredibly robust and durable when they’re in large clumps, and they are also very resistant to heat. These properties were first used by people many years ago to build houses and buildings with them, and the fibres were used as a way to strengthen the structural integrity of the house itself.

Mobile Mini Wakefield branch doubles in size

The Wakefield branch of Mobile Mini, a leading hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers has doubled in size, signalling the Company's commitment to West Yorkshire.

Charcon supplies award winning garden at the National Memorial Arboretum

Charcon, the commercial hard landscaping division of Aggregate Industries, has supplied the Institute of Quarrying with quality commercial flag paving and kerbs to the award winning IQ Quarry Garden at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

The multiple award winning garden featured at this year’s RHS Chatsworth Flower Show and was designed by garden expert Paul Hervey-Brookes. It won Best In Show, Best Construction and a Gold Medal. The garden has now been reimagined to fit a bespoke space just inside the entrance to the National Memorial Arboretum.

Finn Geotherm scoops national award for flagship heating project

A district heating project installed by Attleborough-based Finn Geotherm has won a prestigious industry trophy at the national Heating & Ventilating Review (HVR) Awards 2017. The installation undertaken for housing association Flagship Group has been crowned Sustainable Project of the Year.

The HVR Awards 2017 celebrate innovation in the building services sector. The awards recognise and reward companies across the country that demonstrate excellence in their field, outstanding technology or exceptional customer service and true innovation in the way they operate or in what they produce.
