Mick George Ltd clean up at awards ceremony

Following a rigorous selection process, the most influential ‘players’ in the waste management sector gathered in Grosvenor Square, London, yesterday for the eagerly awaited Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM) ‘Sustainability and Resource Awards’, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

Hosted by celebrity Alistair McGowan, the event welcomed 300 of the industries brightest stars from all over the UK, to celebrate and recognise innovation, achievement and best practice in the sustainable management of waste and resources. The long-standing and well-respected awards are judged by experts in the sector, with the winners setting the standards for others to replicate in the future.

Tina Benfield, Technical Manager at CIWM, said: “Not only the most entries ever, but the most impressive too. It’s a fantastic testament to the brilliant work going on right across the industry.”

Crossrail Project uses Cygnus wireless fire alarm system at seven stations

The Concrete Society celebrates golden anniversary doing what it does best

Midlands Asset Finance scoops prestigious industry award

Independent financial services broker Midlands Asset Finance (MAF) is celebrating after scooping a top Metro Bank Amaze Award.

The firm, based off Junction 28 of the M1, was named Mid-Corporate Asset Finance Broker of the Year at the awards, which recognises and rewards excellence in the asset finance sector.
