ASFP to exhibit at UK Construction Week Birmingham

PR 294 UKCWT600 002The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), the UK’s leading trade association for passive fire protection, will be exhibiting on stand T600 at UK Construction Week (UKCW) at the Birmingham NEC on the 3 - 5 October.

Our experts will be on hand to answer all your passive fire protection (PFP) queries, discuss the latest regulatory developments and explain how our training courses can help you to demonstrate competency. They will describe our full range of courses, from classroom training to our revolutionary e-learning platform, which enables learners to study towards the Institution of Fire Engineers Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in PFP.

The ASFP Passive Fire Experience, our Virtual Reality (VR) training facility, will also be on display.

This contains a ten-person Virtual Reality (VR) headset system and we will be offering visitors an opportunity to get a taste of our new VR training courses and learn about PFP in an exciting new way.

The ASFP stand aims to help visitors to gain a greater understanding of the essential role of PFP within today’s built environment and offers easy access to advice, products, services and best practice in relation to ‘built-in’ fire protection. It is ideal for all involved in construction, fire safety and building maintenance and management, including facilities managers, contractors, services installers, Responsible Persons and designers.
