amily owned steel firm, Adey Steel are celebrating 90 years in the steel industry with the unveiling of a complete rebrand which serves to successfully pool all its separate companies under one Adey name.
The Loughborough based company which is split between four hardworking and dedicated companies have chosen the rebrand to ensure clients can distinguish between the broad ranges of the specialist services that the steel firm has to offer.
Previously known as Adey Group, the steel company has merged its four companies under one overarching brand, the Adey Steel Group.
The Adey Steel Group which now consists of four unique companies:
Adey Steel – Steel fabrication specialist serving the construction, infrastructure and engineering sectors
Adey SteelShop – Offering steel processing and stockholding services, particularly for the UK housebuilding industry.
Adey Technical – A structural design and steel detailing business offering services to the steel construction industries
Adey Transport – Nationwide logistical and steel fabrication delivery arm of Adey Steel Group. Servicing both its intergroup companies as well as external customers, this sector is specifically designed to haul specialist steelwork.
The new rebrand of the business also sees a new company website being created to showcase the offering of the company, as well as all new marketing materials and specific colours. The unveiling of the new branding was held at Loughborough Town Hall as Adey Steel created the original steelwork for the clock tower in 1980.
Adey Steel Group began in 1925 as the local ironmongers in Loughborough town centre by Harry Adey and his wife. The business has been kept in the family, seeing all four generations of the Adey sons managing the family business.
Continually growing the business over the last 90 years, the Adey family have successfully led the company to a prominent position in the industry. Adey Steel Group is renowned in the industry for their specialisms and they have worked on large and small scale projects alike with huge brands such as, Battersea Power Station, Selfridges London, and the University of Nottingham, to name but a few.
