Breaking new ground at Millbrook Park NW7

Countryside Annington (Mill Hill) Ltd, a joint venture between Countryside Properties and Annington Homes is pleased to announce that house building has commenced on-site at ‘The Mount’ at Millbrook Park in Mill Hill, NW7. To mark the start of work on-site a groundbreaking event took place on Thursday 9th January, attended by key parties involved in the project including senior members of Countryside Properties and Annington Homes, together with representatives of building contractor, GB Building Solutions and employers agent, WT Partnership.

Speaking about the start of work on site, Chief Executive of Countryside Properties, Graham Cherry said: “We are delighted to celebrate the start of the next phase in this exciting regeneration project. The Mount provides an attractive mix of 133 apartments and houses intelligently designed to create contemporary, airy and flexible living spaces perfectly suited to today’s lifestyle. I am sure many people will really enjoy living here.”

Ian Hudson, Director for Annington Homes commented “This is an important ‘next step’ for Countryside-Annington. We’re very proud of the quality of the new homes and the style of this development; I have no doubt that our development will be popular and that Millbrook Park, as a desirable neighborhood, will continue to grow.”

The Mount at Millbrook Park will feature a superb range of contemporary 1 & 2 bedroom apartments and 3 & 4 bedroom luxury townhouses, set around landscaped courtyard gardens. Adjoining The Mount is Ridgemont the recently completed development by Countryside Annington.

Apartments feature open plan living spaces, with impressive private balconies and terraces, some of which stretch the entire width of the apartment. Houses will be available with a range of internal layouts, with luxury kitchens and sumptuous master bedroom suites, together with private gardens, large terraces and balconies.

The placement of homes has been carefully considered to allow residents to enjoy the views into both new park spaces that are to be created as part of Millbrook Park, as well as the wider vista across the North London skyline. All of the homes are designed to achieve Level Four of the Code for Sustainable Homes. Twelve of the homes are affordable properties that will be available through Notting Hill Housing Trust.

Millbrook Park is a new residential destination located in the sought-after NW7 postcode. The vision for the development is to create a thriving, sustainable community, well served by a range of community facilities, including a new primary school and almost six hectares of parks and open space. There will be 2,174 new homes in total, developed in 11 phases, offering a wide choice of sizes and styles to suit most possible purchasers. The tranquil setting is on the edge of the green belt yet is within easy reach of Central London and benefits from all the conveniences that an urban location has to offer.

The apartments will be the first homes to be available for sale in early 2014. For further information on forthcoming properties at The Mount, visit the website at www.themount-millbrookpark.co.uk or contact Countryside Annington on 01277 260 000.
