Construction and engineering apprenticeships for young Londoners

Construction student for Polyteck Apprenticeship news releaseAn apprenticeship programme which will bring jobs in the construction industry to young people in East London has been launched through a partnership between New City College and Polyteck.

Construction and facilities management organisation Polyteck has teamed up with the college in a bid to tackle the shortage in trade roles across the UK.

Construction students win awards at New City College presentation evening

0n6764Construction and Engineering students were honoured at the annual New City College Student Achievement Awards presentation evening held during Love our Colleges Week at the Leonardo Royal London Hotel.

The celebratory evening paid tribute to excellence, hard work and determination – recognising those students who had achieved beyond expectation and often despite adversity.

Leeds College of Building focuses on student support for Colleges Week 2022

As this year’s awareness campaign centres on the theme of ‘Staff, Students, and Skills,’ Leeds College of Building is focusing on student support to help counter the devastating effects of the cost-of-living crisis.

GSHPA discusses hot topics and raises over £2,500 for worthy causes

Blood Cancer UK, Walking with Giants Foundation, Young Persons Advisory Service (YPAS) and The Florrie charity have all benefited from a share of over £2,500 raised by the Ground Source Heat Pump Associations (GSHPA) members at their Conference and Charity Dinner held at the Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa, Gargrave, North Yorkshire last month.
