An East of England plant hire specialist has added a 14-metre Hinowa spider boom lift to its fleet to meet demand from customers for platforms that can operate in highly constrained space.
Anglian Plant has bought a Hinowa 14.70 Performance IIIS from Access Platform Sales (APS), sending it immediately out to its first hire customer.

A team of students called The Warwick Boring Team are heading to LA next month to compete in Elon Musk’s the Boring Company’s tunnelling competition. They will build their tunnelling machine and test it against competitors to get top spot.
A group of thirty students, knows the Warwick Boring team at University of Warwick have been working on the innovative tunnelling technology – The Boring Machine to make our transport greener, cheaper and faster in the future.

Coventry civil engineering degree apprentice among national trailblazers

A Coventry University student is among a small group of apprentices who are the first in the UK to have completed their Civil Engineer degree apprenticeships.
Scott Griffiths, who works as a structural engineer at Waterman group in Birmingham, passed his Level 6 Civil Engineering degree apprenticeship end point assessment in June, achieving Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
