Stand Up To Cancer is a groundbreaking initiative created to accelerate innovative cancer research that will get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives.

This Autumn, Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK are leading the rebellion, to overthrow Cancer by any means necessary. Members of the public are being urged to pledge support, indulge in their rebellious side and fundraise however they feel fit, with a whole host of celebrities leading the way.

SoilsCon 2016 praised for wealth of practical knowledge delivered

120 delegates attended ‘SoilsCon 2016 – Soil use and management’ on Wednesday, 5th October, and left the conference armed with a wealth of knowledge and practical tools to apply to their landscape projects. The conference was the second to be organised by soil scientist and landscape consultant Tim O’Hare and focused entirely on soils and their crucial role in delivering successful landscape schemes.

'Bubbles make it better' at APS awards ceremony

A gala evening of fizzy fun underpins a serious message at the Association for Project Safety’s ninth National CDM and Student Designer Awards. The Awards celebrate outstanding contributions aimed at making work in the construction sector safer. The awards showcase innovation and exemplary practice in design and construction health and safety risk management and highlight how this can cut the number of workers who lose their lives, suffer life-changing injuries or are affected by long term health problems.

The Association’s annual awards are being held on 27 October at 7pm in the sumptuous setting of London’s Radission Blu Portman Hotel and new APS Chief Executive Lesley McLeod and past President Richard Wilks will be on hand to welcome Members and guests.

Boningale expands vehicle fleet to facilitate growth plans

Boningale has recently expanded its fleet of vehicles to facilitate growth plans for its expanding portfolio of commercial products and services.
