Multimillion pound investments continue to drive growth at Mobile Mini

Mobile Mini, a leading hirer of portable accommodation and secure storage containers, with its global operations based in Arizona and UK headquarters based in Stockton on Tees, has reported record results for its UK business. Annual income hit £59.8m for 2016, a 3.8% increase on 2015.

The record revenue is being credited in part to the £7.9m Mobile Mini invested in growing its existing hire UK fleet of steel storage containers, portable offices, canteens and toilets, which now stands at almost 40,000 units, operated across sixteen UK branches stretching from Glasgow to Southampton.

Parliamentary Review slot for Midlands Asset Finance

Independent financial services broker Midlands Asset Finance has been selected to contribute to the prestigious 2017 Parliamentary Review, representing the finance sector. 

Director Sue Chapman, who set up the company in 2008, has been invited to submit a report about best practice, culture, and the challenges the business has faced over the past 12 months and how it has overcome them.

Structural Concrete Alliance has announced the dates and locations for its free to attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars and Demonstration Days during 2017.

Designed to provide delegates with an introduction to Structural Asset Protection and Repair, the half-day CPD seminars offer an introduction to corrosion as well as techniques for repair, protection and strengthening.

2017 saw the launch of Mick George Environmental, a dedicated division within the overarching business, that now specialises in all areas of Asbestos Management, dealing with Non-Licensed, Notifiable Non-Licensed and, Licensed Asbestos.

The operation has grown considerably from traditional carriage and disposal skillsets, to now incorporate more extensive survey, analytical, removal, encapsulation and cleansing of Asbestos disturbed materials.

FWB's switchboard operator retires at 80 after 27 years' service

It is with warm wishes that FWB announce the retirement of Margaret Sant, their Switchboard Operator, at the age of 80 after 27 years of loyal service.

Margaret joined the company in 1990, and since then has been the first point of contact for many of FWB’s customers. Her commitment to the role, and her friendly and caring approach will be greatly missed.
