It is with warm wishes that FWB announce the retirement of Margaret Sant, their Switchboard Operator, at the age of 80 after 27 years of loyal service.
Margaret joined the company in 1990, and since then has been the first point of contact for many of FWB’s customers. Her commitment to the role, and her friendly and caring approach will be greatly missed.
Margaret celebrated her retirement at a farewell lunch with her friends and colleagues at FWB, and was presented with her parting gifts by members of the company’s founding family. The day was concluded with a final announcement by Margaret over the company tannoy – a voice that has been heard around the business every day for nearly 3 decades. The end of an era!
All of Margaret’s friends and colleagues at FWB would like to wish her a very happy, healthy and restful retirement.
