Commercial property director Trish Barton is World Duathlon Champion

Construction law specialists Barton Legal are delighted to announce that their co-founder Trish Barton has become the World Duathlon Champion in her age group.
The Championships – which saw thousands of athletes from all over the world compete – took place in Aviles, Spain and featured a gruelling 5km run, followed by a 20km bike ride, finishing with a 2.5km run. Trish posted a time of 1 hour and 16 minutes, putting her two minutes ahead of her nearest competitor.
With Covid-19 having delayed the Championships by 2 years, making training that bit more difficult, this is an incredible achievement. Already the European Champion, Trish is a true role model, successfully balancing the demands of world-level competition with a busy legal practice.
