Healthy and Safety Event a huge success for MSA

With safety standards more stringent than ever, the demand for high quality safety equipment has never been more important. MSA Safety’s attendance at this year’s Health and Safety Event at the NEC provided the perfect opportunity to experience first-hand how its simplified state-of-the-art engineering solutions can minimise risk in complex modern worksites.

This was MSA’s first exhibition at a major UK event since its acquisition of Latchways plc in 2015 doubled its global fall protection business. MSA has used this time to grow and expand its offering, cementing its place as one of the largest and most innovative providers of highly engineered fall protection systems in the world.

MSA showcased products from its extensive safety portfolio, including industry-leading fall protection, gas detection and fire safety equipment.

MSA Safety’s UK Fall Protection Sales Leader, James Sainsbury, commented: “Having not exhibited for three years we wanted to come back with a bang and make a real impression. I think we certainly did that. In many ways the quality of our products speaks for itself, but it was great to showcase them in an engaging, eye-catching space.”

“We had a constant stream of people stopping by, trying out our immersive VR experience and taking a real interest in our products. From a sales point of view, the show was a great success, generating plenty of leads to keep us busy in the coming weeks. Most importantly though, myself and the team enjoyed engaging in some really constructive conversations and helping people make their workplaces safer for those working in hazardous environments.”
