BDA growth as new members sign-up

The British Drilling Association (BDA) has got off to a great start in 2017, signing up four new members. The new additions to the BDA are: R J Blasting (Scotland) Ltd; Bulroc (UK) Ltd; 4Site Construction Ltd and Tyneside Site Investigations.
Membership enquiries are also up for the first quarter of 2017, indicating strong support for the Association’s aims and goals as well as the progress it has made towards fully representing the drilling industry.
Speaking about the new members, Anne Baxter, Chair of the BDA, said: said “2017 has got off to a strong start for the BDA and we are pleased to welcome these new companies to the Association; Their collective knowledge and unique insight into the issues affecting their business will greatly enhance the BDA’s knowledge and allow us to more fully represent the drilling industry, both within the sector and at a more strategic level as a specialist contractor in construction.”
Anne added: “The BDA is committed to driving forward standards, innovation and critical issues, such as best practice and health & safety and it is encouraging that we are attracting an increasing number of companies who share the same ethos.”
Membership of the BDA is open to enterprises such as companies, partnerships and sole traders etc., contractors that have proof their drilling operatives either have, or are registered to take, NVQ Land Drilling, Level 2, non-contracting suppliers and consultants.
