Firefly soars from strength to strength as reputation grows

Growing demand for intelligent software that captures, records and shares data in businesses from care homes to construction companies, has lead Firefly Online Ltd to take on four new starters.

Growth at the Grantham based business, has resulted in Jade Norsworthy joining the company as a personal assistant, Terry Wingfield taking on the role of developer, while Charlotte Lesser and Jade Wilson are both responsible for providing administrative support.

The team grew in 2014, following major investment by parent company Totemic and now stands at 16 staff.

Richard Ratcliffe, managing director at Firefly Online Ltd, said: “Our reputation is growing, as word of our offering spreads and users discuss the benefits. The arrival of these new experienced, skilled people will help maintain our high service levels and aid our drive towards further improvement in software capability. We’re delighted to be strengthening the Firefly team.”

Increasing numbers of public and private sector organisations are benefiting from the advances in software technology developed by Firefly Online Ltd.

Local authorities have used the software across areas including the care home sector, to enable the speedy evaluation of the available care provision in their area. In addition it provides an overview of the suitability and quality of the health and social care services at their disposal and is also accessible to external partners.

The software developer’s platform is also helping some of the country’s biggest construction companies manage regional and national frameworks, engage with clients, partners and numerous sub-contractors, while also detailing project information and key performance indicators across many sites.

Richard Ratcliffe added: “Our software allows all parties to filter the information that’s relevant to them in real time, so they can see exactly how their projects are performing. This makes it easier to manage projects efficiently and delivers wider benefits.

“Supporting frameworks where our software is able to seamlessly synchronise with an existing system has proved particularly beneficial to the public sector and demand for our software continues to rise.

“We are excited about our growth and look forward to welcoming our new team members on board.”
