What does BIM Mean to You? by Project Five Consulting

It’s the buzz word of the moment, but what does BIM mean to you?... Do you fully understand how BIM is impacting upon the construction industry?... Do you understand the impact BIM has on you and your role?... Is it time you understood “What BIM Means for Me?”

The Welsh Government has aligned itself with the UK Government’s mandate to adopt BIM on all Government funded construction projects by March 2016. This illustrates a commitment to BIM; but what does this mean for your role and the built environment as a whole?

Working in partnership with Cardiff University and the BEST Programme, Project Five are delivering a series of accredited BIM training across Wales. The latest course to be announced is “What BIM Means for Me”.

This CPD certified and CQFW Level 4 accredited course aims is to make the practical implementation of Building Information Modelling relevant and understandable to all members of the construction supply chain from project inception, through design and planning, construction, commissioning and the management and maintenance of built assets.

In order to be eligible to attend free of charge delegates must;

  • Live or work in one of Wales' Convergence Areas
  • Be employed or self employed
  • Work in construction or allied services
  • NOT work for a Public Sector organisation
