Riverside Inverclyde to co-host LinkedIn learning session

Riverside Inverclyde (ri) is delighted to announce the co-hosting of a LinkedIn learning session with UK specialists - LinkedIn Success Systems. 

The session will take place on Wednesday 13th December 2017 at the iconic Custom House in Greenock.  The event is free to attend and open to all individuals and businesses across the West Coast of Scotland.

Changes to MCS guidelines - top tips for ground source heat pump installers

In order to be eligible to claim for quarterly payments from the Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme, ground source heat pump installations must be compliant with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). The MCS is an independent scheme designed to evaluate heat pump systems and installers against robust criteria, providing greater protection for consumers.

At the end of October 2017 the MCS standard MIS3005 ‘Requirements for MCS Contractors undertaking the Supply, Design, Installation, Set to Work, Commissioning and Handover of Microgeneration Heat Pump Systems’ was updated.

Alumasc bring deck deflections back to tolerance quickly and effectively

Alumasc Roofing SystemsMonoscreed is a fast-curing, solvent and isocyanate-free PMMA-based compound screed that can be cold applied to concrete decks (3mm - 50mm) to reduce deck deflection/back-falls and bring deck levels back to tolerance - i.e. zero falls. 

FAST CURE TIME

Unaffected by ambient temperatures, the system is rainproof within 15 minutes of being applied and will fully cure in circa 45 minutes, thus offering significant programme benefits when compared with more traditional screeds.

Peacock Engineering awarded major schools contract

Peacock Engineering has won a contract with Carillion to provide an asset management solution for their Irish schools Bundle 5 PPP contract. 

As part of the 27 year concession, Carillion will deliver the support services to five schools and an institute of further education across Meath, Carlow, Wicklow and Wexford.  To help them to effectively manage the assets during this period, they will be using an IBM Maximo system provided by Peacock Engineering.
