Marwood Events picks the NEC for Roofex launch

Marwood Events has chosen the NEC to host its inaugural Roofex exhibition from 1-2 May 2013.
The specialist event for the UK roofing industry will be held in Hall 8 and will feature a CPD theatre, training workshops and free demonstrations. It is hoping to achieve more than 100 exhibitors.
The news follows Marwood’s decision to relocate the UK Concrete Show from Coventry’s Ricoh Arena to the NEC earlier this year.
Steven Callaghan, event director at Marwood, said: "We’ve identified the roofing sector as an industry badly in need of their own specialist event and we believe that Roofex will go on to achieve the same levels of success that we’ve already hit with the UK Concrete Show.
"We’re confident that the NEC will also contribute to the event’s success. We already know it’s a venue with a proven track record of successful launch shows and it’s the place where events grow – we’re very much looking forward to working with the NEC team to make this a great event."
