Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT), part of the First Ark Group, which is committed to creating a successful and sustainable community for people and businesses in Knowsley,is celebrating another milestone by opening its first show apartment on the new Bluebell Park Extra Care development in Huyton.
The development, which is due for completion in autumn of 2014, will provide 122 new one and two bedroom apartments for the over 55s. Approximately 101 of the apartments will be available through Extra Care Facilities, which will cater for the needs of older people by offering varying levels of care and support tailored to individual requirements.
FA Cup hero visits housing development named in his honour

A housing development being built as part of a £30m regeneration scheme inHereford, is to be named Radford Gardens in recognition of the achievements of one of the city’s most famous sporting heroes.
Keepmoat and Herefordshire Housing have announced that as part of their plans to breathe new life into The Oval by building 259 high-quality new homes they will name the development after Hereford United’s FA Cup hero Ronnie Radford.

Four Housing, North Star Housing Group and Two Castles Housing Association have joined forces to procure day-to-day and void maintenance repairs worth more than £13million over a four-year partnership.

KHT completes award nominated Bluebell bungalows scheme

Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT), part of the First Ark Group, which is committed to creating a successful and sustainable community for people and businesses in Knowsley, has completed work on a new scheme that will complement extra care development, Bluebell Park.
Nine stylish new bungalows have been built on Alamein Road in Huyton, Knowsley, opposite the Bluebell development, which is due to be completed in autumn this year. Although independent from Bluebell Park, bungalow residents will be able to use the facilities in the extra care scheme if they wish to*, which include an on-site care team, restaurant, and hairdresser.
As part of the Home & Communities Agency’s pledge to increase the supply of new affordable homes in England, KHT was awarded a £835,000 grant to deliver 59 homes to Knowsley by March 2016. The Alamein bungalow scheme is the first to be completed from the funding pot and offers residents a high quality and sustainable living environment with the option to tailor a support package specifically for their individual requirements when Bluebell Park opens.

New homes at The Rise in Scotswood go on sale this weekend (Saturday March 15th), bringing an end to a decade long wait for the redevelopment of this riverside site.
