Bellway expands to Thames Valley, opening offices in Reading

Bellway, the UK’s fourth largest house builder has established a new operating division covering Thames Valley to help meet customer demand for homes in the area. The new division of the national company recently set up headquarters at Pacific House in Reading, led by Managing Director Steven Brown.

Speaking about the move to Reading, Steven Brown said: “Bellway’s expansion into the Thames Valley reflects the high demand for new homes in the housing market, and this new division marks a significant investment from one of the largest house builders in the country.

“We are absolutely thrilled that we now have a permanent home in Reading, the centre of the Thames Valley region. The team is really looking forward to settling into the offices and launching some exciting Bellway developments in the region.”

Bellway’s commitment and investment in Reading is threefold; not only has the firm located its new headquarters in the town, but it is expanding quickly and there are a number of exciting opportunities for people to join the company.

The company is also launching King’s Mead, a major development in the heart of Reading town centre in spring 2015. The scheme at Kenavon Drive, just a short walk from the River Kennet and Reading station, will be a collection of 192 homes, ranging from one and two bedroom apartments, and two, three and four bedroom houses.

In addition to the King’s Mead development in Reading, Bellway Thames Valley has a number of other development across the region, including Mile Field in Leavesden, Foundry Court in Wokingham, Canalside in Thatcham and Beechdown Place in Basingstoke.
