The near £9 million development - built by National Contractor Bullock – consists of 35, one bed and 32, two bed apartments, a lounge, restaurant, hairdressing salon and media room.

Anne, 71, said: “I thoroughly enjoyed meeting him. It was an honour.”
HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO also unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the scheme’s official opening.
Richard Baker, Regional Director for Bullock, said: “Chestnut Grange has been very much a partnership in practice between Bullock and Trent & Dove and we are very pleased that The Duke of Gloucester has joined us both to celebrate the opening of this Extra Care facility.
“Chestnut Grange allows older people to live independently in a home that has been designed and built to meet their specific needs and which will certainly increase the housing options in the area for this age group.”
John Jackson OBE, Chairman at Trent & Dove Housing said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to show HRH the future of retirement living in East Staffordshire. Chestnut Grange really is an exceptional place and we are immensely proud of everyone who has worked so hard to make it such a wonderful place to live.
“This event has provided us with an ideal opportunity to thank all involved in this landmark project”.
With a successful portfolio of extra care developments in excess of £30million which include; The Limes, Newport Pagnell and Briar Croft in Stratford upon Avon, Chestnut Grange adds to Bullock’s extra care experience as the company continues to strengthen and grow its position in the sector.
Bullock’s Head Office is based in the West Midlands and has regional offices across England and Wales. The company employs approximately 450 people and has over 55 years’ experience delivering refurbishment and new build projects across both the domestic and commercial property sectors.
