Asbestos Training (UKATA approved)

BTS is a UKATA approved training provider and is able to offer training in Awareness, Skills (Non Licensed Removal) and Licensed Removal. We have a dedicated instructor who specialises in this industry who is available to discuss any matters or questions that you may have regarding Asbestos Training. The regulations require mandatory training for anyone liable to be exposed to asbestos at work.

Asbestos Awareness

This course is designed for people who are liable to disturb Asbestos while carrying out their normal day to day duties. Or who may be influenced by how work is carried out. This course is to help provide awareness to those individuals and how to work safely.

Asbestos Skills (Non Licensed Removal)

Any operative whose task involves them knowingly working with unlicensed Asbestos products must have task specific training in line with the HSE Asbestos essentials ‘A task for building, maintenance and allied trades on non-licensed Asbestos work’.

Anyone sitting this course must have a valid Asbestos Awareness certificate no older than 6 months.

Asbestos Licensed Removal

This course is designed for persons who will be working with asbestos containing materials that are classed as licensable and including asbestos insulation, asbestos coatings and insulation board.
