HSE reward Mick George progress

Having grown revenues by 51% (YOY), Mick George Environmental has received some more welcome news to kick-start 2019.

The company has been rewarded with an extended 2-year license from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), reflecting the hard work, commitment and continuous improvement that is core to both office and site operations.

Traditionally recognised for the carriage and disposal of restricted asbestos contaminated materials, Mick George Environmental is accredited to complete all related non-licensed, notifiable non-licensed and licensed asbestos, uniquely placing the business within the market due to their ability to provide a ‘start to finish’ service.

The company can provide asbestos surveys, analytical services, encapsulation, repair and removal. The team also specialise in the assessment and removal of asbestos in soil with the benefits of inhouse excavation, haulage and disposal support.

An attractive proposition for contractors, developers or tradesmen who are looking for a cost effective, one-stop solution for outsourcing their domestic or commercial asbestos requirements.

Stephen Summerfield, Managing Director of Mick George Environmental commented: ‘’Since gaining the initial license in 2018 as a ‘new’ company, we have worked incredibly hard to improve operational processes and procedures. The fact that we’ve achieved the longer-term license is a testament to what we have delivered. We will endeavour to keep the standards high as we seek a 3-year HSE license.’’
